How would you see your life if it flashed before your eyes?  Ed, a normal man by all accounts, is mugged in the parking lot of a grocery store, and he sees his life flash.  What important parts of your life do you think you would see?  Ed sees his childhood, a crush on a student teacher, his college days, his wedding day, and much more.  Is your life all that it seemed?  With the help of Aras, a stranger and friend, Ed walks through the highs and lows of his life.  How will it all end?

“My spine tingles.  I just giggle.  My stomach flutters.  Will it ever happen?  Not in this lifetime.  Open up and try.  My hands get cold and clammy.  Take a risk.  You might break your heart.  Better to have tried…  Just love.”

A group men and women try to find love in New York City.  Love is found.  Love is lost.  Love is found again.  It’s messy.  It’s complicated.  But it can conquer all.

In 2012, my writing partner, Jimmy Straley, challenged us to musicalize one of the best loved novels and movies of the last 30 years.  I said, "Sure.  No problem.  Are you crazy!?"  6 months later we had a stage adaption and 16 amazing original songs.  Our passion project has taken wing.  Here is the orchestration from the power ballad from the show.
